Our Story

Left Coast Sol owner Holly Kim has been designing and planning major events for marquis clients for nearly 30 years prior to opening Left Coast Sol. Her design inspiration comes from living on the West Coast in Southern California – both in Los Angeles and Orange County – before moving to the Gulf Coast of Florida in 2019 with her husband and daughter. Bradenton is where her parents reside, where she has visited regularly for nearly two decades, and is a community she loves with wonderful friendships throughout the Bradenton/Sarasota area.

Her deep dual-coast experience was the inspiration for the name “Left Coast Sol” – Where West Coast Meets Gulf Coast. The business began 3 years ago selling curated vintage wares, building a local and national following in the process.

Today the business has grown into a curated retail space full of thoughtful and unique items for your home as well as a wide range of gift items. The opportunity to bring her vision to a brick-and-mortar is a dream come true.
